Riverside Workshop
Riverside Workshop
These Summer workshops are aimed at students currently studying A-Level but would also be suitable for students moving into the final year of GCSE.
WHERE: Outdoors. Ramble, respond and record along the River Wey.
WHEN: 5th & 6th August, 10.30am – 12.30pm
WITH: Sheets of paper, graphite pencils/sticks, coloured pencils, felt tip pens, watercolours.
This workshop will take place over two mornings exploring the riverside area of Godalming, taking inspiration from the flowing water, landscape and architectural features in the area, perspectives of distance near and far, framing and skylines. Over the two workshops you will work on a series of quick, sequential drawings and then have the opportunity to develop some of these ideas in more sustained pieces.
