These Summer workshops are aimed at students currently studying A-Level but would also be suitable for students moving into the final year of GCSE.

WHERE: Outdoors. Immersive experience in woodland and the Mary Watts Chapel.

WHEN: 9^th & 10^th August, 10.30am – 12.30pm

WITH: Paper, graphite pencils/sticks, watercolours, coloured pencils. Phone for sound recording.

Over the two mornings you will develop drawing techniques in response to being immersed in the woodland, its plants, sounds, light and shadows. There will also be a visit to the historic site of the Mary Watts Chapel in Compton where you will learn about the artist and community that created this special place, taking inspiration from it and the surrounding area to produce exciting sketchbook work.
